Excavate the area to a depth that will allow for 4" of compacted base rock. To overcome this dependency, the tensile bridging behavior by the fibers in UHPCC was simulated considering the obtained fiber orientation distribution as well as the number of fibers detected. When the proper depth is reached (e.g., about 80 ft or 24.4 m), a cylindrical cage of reinforcing steel (rebar) is lowered into the slurry-filled shaft (e.g., 72 in or 2 m in diameter). Meanwhile, due to the resonance of the weld pool at 5 Hz and 10 Hz, the samples have poor geometry accuracy but contain finer equiaxed grains (21 μm) and exhibit higher ultimate tensile strength (260 MPa) and yield strength (102 MPa), which are similar to those of the forged AZ31 alloy.
